I recently went on a trip to Gujarat with Hidden Journeys. I was interested in learning more about the history and culture of the region, and I was not disappointed. We started our trip in Ahmedabad, the capital of Gujarat. We visited the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, and the Sabarmati Ashram, where Mahatma Gandhi lived and worked for many years.
From Ahmedabad, we traveled to Udaipur, a beautiful city known for its lakes and palaces. We visited the City Palace, the Lake Palace, and the Hawa Mahal. We also spent some time in the rural areas of Gujarat. We visited a village in Kutch, where we learned about the traditional way of life. We also visited a salt farm, where we saw how salt is harvested from the sea.
