On the opening of the City of Dwarka, you can come athwart the ISKCON gate and across the gate is the temple placed near Devi Bhavan Road. ISKCON Gate and Temple is Gita Mandir bearing the deity of Lord Krishna and Radha, from the roof one can also get a glimpse of the Dwarkadhish Temple. Here you can also be in the small guest house of twenty striking rooms. The extraordinary element of this temple is that it is completely stone carved, the 1st of such category in the times gone by of ISKCON. These temples are constructed by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. Swami Prabhupada laid the foundation of the shrine temple. At ISKCON Gate and Temple ceremonies and rituals keep the festival alive. Many festivals are celebrated here at a grand level namely Janmashtami, Gaura Purnima, Diwali, Jhulan Yatra, Rama Navami, Balaram Purnima, Annakut, Govardhana Puja and Radhashtami are the major festivals celebrated in the ISKCON Gate and Temple.
